New Song: Mondo Chaos

Gallows are playing a new song, Mondo Chaos, on the AP tour (as well as True Colours, of course). A video of the song being performed in Boston has surfaced, you can watch it below. It seems that Wade is taking a more direct approach to lyrics. Do you like it?

Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire to front Gallows, new show announced in London

Alternative Press have announced that Wade Macneil, formerly of Alexisonfire (who announced their breakup last week) will be Gallows new frontman. You can read an excerpt from the AP article below.

"How do you think the band is different with you in it?
I definitely think I have a very, very different voice than Frank—and I mean aside from yelling, I think just the tone of my voice is going to be the one thing that’s really, really different. Even though I’ve spent a lot of the last 10 years touring England in various bands, I don’t have a British perspective for everything, so whereas the last record was definitely focused on Britain specifically, I think everything we’re going to do in the future will definitely have more of a worldview. That’s something everyone in the band can relate to, because we spent the majority of our youth traveling the world playing punk shows."

Gallows have also announced they will be playing XOYO in London on December 13th, tickets go on sale Friday.

Frank Leaving Gallows-New Frontman Will Be Found

Over the past 24 hours Gallows, Frank and his new band Pure Love have been tweeting about an announcement that would be made at Midnight. Just over an hour ago the band posted a note on Facebook explaining Frank's departure from the band and the reasons behind it.

Gallows will continue on as a band, however it can be assumed that the third record will be indefinitely delayed until the band has found a new singer.

We at Gallows News HQ will debate reporting Pure Love news on this site.

Dead Press! Posts Review of Manchester Show

The webzine Dead Press! has posted a review of Gallows show at Manchester Moho last week on their site. A brief excerpt is below:

"Before Gallows even take the stage, most of the men of the crowd remove their shirts. It’s like something from Fight Club (but we’re not meant to talk about it). They swagger onstage and instantly dive into ‘Leeches’ to which the venue erupts in a sea of jumping and moshing, as well as invading the stage. Frank looks out at the sheer havoc he has caused and merely smirks, like this is all part of his daily routine. And he’s full of ideas too, ordering people to create human pyramids, run around a venue-wide circle pit and create a wall of death the size of the room. The crowd look border line rapid, with a glint of insanity in their eyes as they mindlessly charge at each other with a huge grin on their faces."

The setlist from the show (as found on Setlist.fm) is as follows*:

Leeches
London Is The Reason
Abandon Ship
Black Eyes
The Vulture Part II
Gold Dust
I Dread The Night
Misery
In The Belly Of A Shark
Orchestra Of Wolves
